Women in Cambodia face significant barriers when it comes to discussing and managing their reproductive health. Cultural taboos, gender norms, and a lack of reliable health information contribute to this issue. Women often feel ashamed or embarrassed to talk about their health issues, which is exacerbated by harassment and a lack of safe spaces for these discussions. Our survey found that 60% of women feel ashamed to discuss reproductive health, and many have experienced workplace sexual harassment or intimate partner violence. These barriers result in poor health outcomes due to misinformation or misuse of medical products. Addressing these issues requires a solution that provides education, support, and anonymity to empower women in managing their health effectively.
